Ingredients
8ounces canned baked beansOriginal Flavor
⅓cup BBQ sauceAny brand will do, just look for a flavor description on the package that is "smoky, sweet and tangy"
½cupred onion, ½ inch diced
2Tablespoonsmaple syrup
2Tablespoonsbrown sugar,packed
3stripsapple-wood smoked bacon, ½ inch diced
¼cupdried cranberries
1sprigs of rosemary
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In individual ramekins, a casserole dish or Dutch oven, combine beans, BBQ sauce, onions, maple syrup, brown sugar and cranberries. Top with Rosemary sprigs and bacon; cover and bake 1 hour.If your baking dish does not have a cover, use aluminum foil.
Remove cover; increase oven temperature to 425° F. Bake until bacon is crisp (20-30 minutes). Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
